Kikowani Station

Full run, Bungie.net Fileshare

Aside from the "Streets", this is the first real mission in the game that almost requires you to use your VISR 90% of the time. It's also the first time since Halo 2 that you're able to fly a Banshee in campaign!
Status report; you're now looking to vacate the city and your only way out is through Kikowani Station... but it's flooded. Great! Well, at least when we say flooded, we don't mean Flooded. However it is heavily occupied with Covenant forces, including the new Covenant Engineer which we'll be dealing with in a place other than Mombasa Streets for the first time. But don't worry. Team Mythic's got your back on this one too. You won't be fighting Covenant baddies in the dark alone as long as we're around. The mission has been divided as shown below...

  1. Phantom Assault
  2. First Tunnel
  3. Second Tunnel
  4. Third Tunnel
  5. Scarab Assault

And though it may actually seem like a lot, the mission itself is actually fairly short and can be run through in roughly seven minutes (ya hear that BUNGIE?!).

Phantom Assault

Time to flip on that VISR and get rollin'. Head down the walkway straight to the metro train. Take a hard right and unload your magnum into the group of Grunts before they can spam your locale with grenades. Go ahead and trade out your secondary weapon for one of the plasma pistols in the crate up ahead, and proceed forward. Continuing towards the Phantom, jump off the ledge to the lower level rather than heading down the stairs as shown in the video. Then head up the adjacent flight of stairs to where you'll encounter yet another group of Covenant. Avoid them. Your main concern should be the Phantom and its secondary gunner. Strafe around it as best you can, and commandeer one of the Banshees dead ahead. The video below gives a better visual on how to complete this task.

First Tunnel

That was the hard part. Now you can pretty much hang back and wait for your allies to capture the Phantom. In the mean time, speed on ahead and take out the Shade turrets guarding the tunnel entrance on the opposite side of the area.
When the Phantom decides to join you, go ahead and duck into that little side passage just to the left of the tunnel. There you can pick up a hemo pack if you need one. Also, hide there while the tunnel doors open in order to avoid the pair of enemy Banshees that come darting out into the open area. They'll attack the invincible ally Phantom rather than you.
Use the Banshee's fuel rod cannon to decimate the sniper tower just inside the tunnel. Then maneuver your way through the actual tunnel itself to the other side. Drop out of the Banshee and head into the little side room where you'll need to flip the switch to unlock the opposite door for your buddies. Watch out for the enemy Wraith and fuel rod-wielding enemies as well while you're boosting through the darkness.
Upon flipping the switch, the friendly Phantom will join your assault. Make your way through the newly opened passage while the Phantom creates a diversion, and grab a Banshee from the next area. Newer is better! Watch how it's done.

Second Tunnel

Don't both engage the enemies. Let the Phantom do all the work here. Simply boost across the water-logged chasm towards the tunnel door on the right. Land the Banshee away from the entrance itself, activate the switch on the blast door, and hop back inside before you can get grenade spammed. Again, boost through the tunnel towards the enemy Phantom. When you reach other side, go ahead and park the Banshee on top of the Phantom to keep the enemies below from shooting at you. Eventually, the blast door will open by itself allowing you to easily boost through the next large area as well. Like before, ignore all the Covenant and head towards the tunnel on the left. Abandon the Banshee and unlock the door via the panel.

Third Tunnel

Oh no! The tunnel door is locked, and the only way in is through the pair of tiny passages at the base of the blast door. So much for backup... This is the most difficult tunnel of the three, but it can still be rushed.
Hug the right side upon entering the right passage and make your way towards the opposite end. Your enemies will be alerted to your presence at some point, but don't let it stop you. Just keep going. You'll notice an Engineer has his comrades protected by personal forcefields, so fighting at this point would only be a pain. Not to mention there's also a Hammer Chieftain lurking about with his carbine-wielding bodyguards.
Follow the path in the below video to make your way to the opposite room not only to unlock the tunnel doors, but also to recharge your health with another hemo pack.

Scarab Assault

Beeline it for the open blast door and enter the final area where the only thing standing between you and the sweet taste of freedom is a towering Scarab. I have to admit, I still wonder how they actually got the thing in there to begin with and why...
Do your best to avoid the Scarab's AA gun. It's your biggest threat at this point. Hiding behind an object (even one of the Banshees!) will keep it from shooting at you. Next, commandeer one of the Banshees and boost as fast as you can over to the Scarab. Avoid the dogfight-provoking enemy Banshees as you land on top of the Scarab itself. Hop down on the left hind leg and then down to the core. Use whatever weapons you have to disable to core and abandon ship right away. I can't tell you how many times I've made it this far only to be killed by the Scarab explosion, so either run as far away as you can, or take shelter behind a protective object that will shield you from the blast. BOOM!
The rest is pretty straightforward from here on out. Unlock the left side blast door, grab a Banshee just on the other side, and use the fighter's fuel rod cannon to chain react the Engineer nests into oblivion!
