The Clouds Cry

"I don't get it, I mean, look at him." said one of the medics in a confused tone.
"Yeah, I know. I've never seen anything like it. It's almost like something got inside of him and stole all of his insides." the coroner sighed, almost disgusted in a way.
Major Pfaltzgraff was the unlucky soldier on the autopsy table. He was found in one of the underground tunnels on one of the ring-planets, this one was found to be named "Procom". This name was never understood but more important things were being discovered about it. This planet looked exactly like Halo except it was more of a cold-weather environment and it consisted of underground tunnels and large structures like the ones where the "Silent Cartographer" was located on Halo.
"Doctor Rheost! We found this man near where we found Phaltzgraff." yelled a soldier as he bursted through the door.
"I, I saw them! Th, they crawled through the door and . . . AAHHH!!! Get it off! Get it off! don't touch me! They're gonna kill me, HELP!!", the man screamed as he broke loose and ran over to a corner.
"He was just sitting there on the ground when we found him. He kept on rambling about some little black things and how they lurked in the shadows and . . ."
"BEEP BEEP BEEP!!" the soldier's talking was interrupted by the ship's alarm.
"All marines report to the bridge immediately, repeat, all marines report to the bridge immediately!" yelled the captain over the intercom.
"That's my cue!" said the soldier, he picked up his Assault Rifle that he dropped on the table and ran out of the room.

At the Bridge . . . .

"Men, the Covenant are preparing to attack our ship right now. They have just entered a worm-hole and are headed this way." said capatain Martin.
"Heh, looks like we have a classic "Pillar of Autumn" at our hands!" yelled a soldier over the crowd.
"Shut your mouth private Miles!"
"Yes, sir. . ."
"Now you all know what to do. Protect all major areas of this ship and we could win this." captain Martin finished his briefing speech and the marines moved out.
"BOOM!" the Covenant had already begun attacking the "Terror Storm" and half of their troops were already on board the ship.
"WAAAAAH!BLAM!BRATRTATR!" the sounds of the chaos filled the hallways of the ship.
"Sir, they are doing exactly what they did to the "Pillar of Autumn", they have taken out our weapons and shields, we should evacuate everybody to "Procom" A.S.A.P." exclaimed one of the bridge managers.
"Everybody listen up, report to the nearest life pod station and head for Procom, bring all important supplies that you can. Turn on cloaking before you eject, we can't afford to lose anybody due to stupidity." the sound of the captains voice faded and the ship's alarms went off signaling for evryone to evacuate.

The battle was still going on, picture the first level of Halo except add 15 Hunters and 20 jackals to the battle scene.
"FWWIP-BOOM!" fuel rod guns tore through soldiers and the ship walls.
"AHAHAH!!!" Elites could be heard laughing as they killed more soldiers.
Battle noises and screams of pain filled the air. Life pods were ejecting simultaneously but for every 5 that went off 2 were destroyed. The pillar of Autumn battle could not compare to this carnage.

2 hours later . . . . .

The "Terror Storm" was completely abandoned and chunks of it floated in space. There were 32% human casualties and 29% covenant casualties. 24 lifeboats made it to the ring-world Procom and 12 were destroyed. The "Terror Storm" had 6 Spartans on it that day. These Spartans were Jay 235, Jon 567, Jake 456, Fred 589, Nate 132, and Gary 435. Each Spartan was on his own lifeboat. When the lifeboats came down the Covenant were slow to follow because of their large damages. The lifeboats were quickly recovered by dropships, this was because there were already people on Procom studying it. 15 people died in the lifeboats during landing and re-entry.

In a tunnel on procom . . . .

"Dammit, how many of these marines are dead like this?" sighed sergeant Kernes. They have been in these tunnels searching for there missing men for 3 days an it was looking very bad. Covenant and Human both shared the strange body distortions that Phaltzgraff had. Blood was everywhere it looked just like a nightmare.
