He's not copying The Flood. The fact that he said the POA had 38 Pelicans gives that away. Besides, the writings style isn't that good.

He's copying Halo: The Flood word for word. Hey man, you need to stop doing it because it is illegal because your giving away a companies product for free.

it's an excellent attempt at writing up the events of CE (combat evolved), but is this really necessary? I mean, you could go pick up HtF.. (halo the flood) by william c. dietz that tells the same story. If you're trying to write a sort of halo history... i'm sorry to say that it's already sort of done. I'm not sure what you're trying to do here, though.
If you are attempting to write an alternate storyline for Halo: Combat Evolved, you should have made that evident in your title. If you are just writing up the plot of Halo.. it's alrady been done.
But the writing is very solid. I would be happy to hlep with any other writing you have. It definitely shows potential.
