I agree with Nemesis, it is very reminiscent of StarCraft, and this story is almost an exact match to that of the first scene of the first movie in the Star Wars Trilogy, where Princesss Leia is running from some star destroyers, with the stolen plans of the secret weapon, the Death Star. They are boarded by stormtroopers, and the security guards are armed with what? That's right, blaster pistols! Eventually these guards are overwhelmed and take off down the hall. Now, don't mistake me for some kind of Star Wars junkie, I just happened to watch it last night for the first time in several years, so it's fresh in my memory. But this doesn't bother me that much, I just wanted to point this out, and i'm willing to completely forget about it if you would write more stories, just make them original.

I just red most of it, and while good, it was still riddled with grammar problems. Work on that.

Well that's the basic storyline for every sci-fi story like Starcraft/Halo/ etc.

i dunno bout you, but this reminded me a little bit about Starcraft...the confederation, the badlands, a single race trying to overpower others (Zerg). oh well, maybe it's just me
