Yeah, that happened at the end of Ender's Game. That's why I enjoyed Ender's Shadow much better, and Shadow of the Hegemon seems good so far, too. I recommend those books to anyone who likes science-fiction... TFOR was kinda based on Game. Sorry, once more, for taking up your review space, Hornet. Hope to see more from you soon.

Yea, just stop where you feel you need to stop. It is better to end your story at a natural pause than to drag it on and create a blase area where the reader feels let down.

Thanks for the commments. Sorry if it was a little short, but that just seemed like the natural stopping point. Next chapter might be a while in coming, the University internet system is shut down right now.

Sorry to waste your review space, Hornet34, but I was wondering: does the Pillar of Autumn have a rotating center column or has the UNSC suddenly developed gravity boosters for its ships?I noticed Keyes wasn't belted down anywhere on the bridge, and it didn't seem to be rotating.

I pick the right guy to send my stories to. Because that writting was excellent, no mistakes, and the story was great itself. Keep it up Hornet, but it was short, but great.

very good, im really liking your work here, i hope you keep it up. as what walker said you realy put some realism into it, although for some reason i doubt a soldier in any armed forces would joke in a situation like that, (leaving there ship behind with possibly hundreds of comrades left to die). very good, i can realy see improement from story to story.

I love it man. Nice story. And NO Spartans. I like that. You know why I don't like Spartans in unofficial stories Bungie. A little short, but otherwise, excellent.

Thanks Walker, I try to make my characters communicate to each other the way people really talk, with stutters, accents, using slang, and cracking jokes. Glad to see its appreciated.

Another great story, Hornet34. I enjoyed the realism of this one. The fumbling of wrods and the salute, the jokes, and other such things that we read about in War books aren't often seen here are just a few of the things that make your work great. Hope to see more from you soon.
