I always learned that above 10 was when you could write it out, however I don't advise that unless it is a high number like he said. Or if you just can't spell hundred, thousand, or million.

Really good, liked how you tied in the distress call from the last chapter.

Can't wait for your next!

Trying to give at least one hint/tip/piece of advise to every story, and this is what I chose for you.

I noticed that the numbers in your story are written with numerals (ex. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). However, as a rule of the thumb, you shouldn't put numerals into an actual story unless it is a number great than 9,999. It kind of disrupts the flow of the story you have.

Instead, write out the numbers. One, two, three, four, five. Switching from letters to numerals and back again is tiring on a reader's eyes.

Just a word of advise,

I know that Column ship was a lameass excuse, and as for any Halo-related historical errors in my writing, please forgive. (Hence, fiction.) Just wanted to get those words in before more people read this. I assure the third chapter will improve upon this one.
