Brief, but enjoyable and well-written. Do you have any time frame in mind for this series (like the way the books state the date/time at each chapter's beginning)?

Three things.
1. Nice read.
2. 10 kilometers and rather small? Actually for a human vessel that thing is huge. I mean most of our cruisers, our largest ships, are around 3-4 kilometers in length.
3. As for Helljumper's thing on we wouldn't of known the Covenant were coming while in slipspace. We can detect slipspace movement with those slipspace probes like around Reach and Sigma Octanus. So technically we can see the Covenant coming. Just so you know.

The space battle was really good. I like how that one shit took the plasma missles to save the others. One note though, i could be wrong but if the Covenant are traveling through Slipspace, the human fleet won't have known they were coming until they exited slipspace
