Not so rare, I'm English an' all mate!
Andy, boyo that story was great. However I also wanted to say that your Covenant Frontier stroy must be my No. 1 favourite of all time. When I saw mention of it in XBOX UK mag, I went and checked HBO, and there it was! I loved it, it was a really fabulous read!

For some reason the thingy-ma-bob cuts out every other word of what I say. Hmmmm...could be a conspirital plot for world domination...I'll check that.

Ever since the age of Eight with air-to-air combat. I could probably write a book entitled: "Furballs for Dummies" that would be required reading at the Air Force Academy. One thing you should know is that a 'Bogey' is the term for an unidentified enemy aircraft. A 'Bandit' on the other hand is the term for an identified enemy aircraft. Most aircraft (especially in the future) would try their best to stay out of dogfighting range. They would sit back and send salvo after salvo of long range missiles at their target, then close like a basic Medieval charge. Many would go low and high to get the better position on the other. But oh well, Halo FanFic isn't about full realism. But other than that, good story.

Well, I was surprised that the author was British (or at least someone who enjoys writing in the name of England)...no offense, but I like the way some British people write and I don't normally see much from them ( Some American writers can be so boring sometimes). But that was good. I needed something like that since English writers are so...so...scarce, so rare now. (Seriously, don't take this in a defensive way). Keep it coming!

Halo 2: Blade Squadron Part 1 has received a rating of 9.7 out of a possible 10.0.

yet another pilot-type fan fic, sorry, but it's already been done quite a few times. Im not saying it's bad, oh it's not close to bad, i liked it. (I wrote a pilot-based fan fic, but then just kinda strayed offa the whole pilot subject later on :) d'oh! ). hope to see another part.

I always liked the pilot aspect of halo. I made a small series called Pilots of Autumn a while back, it is pretty much the pilots view from when they first came out of subspace near halo to the bridge scene with captian keyes, when the game first starts. Look it up if you need any ideas. As for yours, i think its great. maybe more paragraphs; looking at the whole thing in bulk is intimidating.
