Mainevent, I would be honored to be on your team, but one thing. Dont call me Forerunner!! My name is FOrunnER, it would be like if I called you...Maine Event. After a while it would get annoying.
And also, yes, a considerable amout of appeal to this story is that it has other fanfic writers in it, but I also think it is fairly well written. Oh, and dont worry CoLd BlooDed, Ill check out your story (notice Mainevent how I spell his name correctly)

Jamirus99, you have a point, the writing so far has been unspectacular, although I think its on par with everything else out there. And the idea has been used before, BUT, I was applauding the way its set up as to allow everyone to write their own squad adventures and submit them.
I think Walker's right, this story isn't necessarily about writing the best fanfic ever, but is just designed to be a fun way to be a part of the game. I mean seriously, who hasn't imagined themselves piloting a Banshee or lining up the orange flesh of a hunter with your trusty sniper rifle. Yeah, it might not be original, but its good harmless fun.

I agree, it's no literary masterpiece, but the idea of getting sucked into the game was H_K's and the point of this story is more interactive fun than actual story.

Some of you guys crack me up....here you guys are, congratulating Hunter when all he's done is ripped off a bunch of GOOD fics, and made them unoriginal.
That was the joy of Gunnery Sergeant, Skav, Jillybean, and Wado- their stories were ORIGINAL, and FUNNY.
Also, you manage to spell WARBOW wrong throughout your entire "literary masterpiece"....please, just stop writing. It's too painful to go on.

i personally dont want to be in any squad considering that all i need it me and my brother chris. considering that every time we play halo for xbox we always win.

Well, mostly my squad is non-HBO regular game Marines from the 9th, aka the Walking Dead. Just happens I have the hero of my first story, LCpl Dirk Kennedy in my squad... yes, I've already introduced Hornet34, complete with shotgun and piloting skills. Anyway, the work is in progress, and I'll submit it to H_K once I'm done for approval.

(Since no one will check the old posts, once again)
I'm back. Had a break for a couple months, came back, and what do I see but a couple of veterans and way to many noobs. I was thinking of starting another fanfic, (I've actually already started), and I was wondering if any of my old audience was still around to enjoy it.
To Hunter_Killer; great idea for the story. I'd have liked a little bit more elaboration on some of the early battles, but the way your allowing everyone to write in with their own chapters should alleviate that problem. (Hey, one of you guys could include me in your squad, I'm downright nasty with a shotgun.) Like always, keep up the good work, its good to see a familiar face (uh, name) still around.

Yes! Good joob, man; not only was the writing great, it went along with what I've already written and it sets the stage for what I was going to have happen next. Hope to see more, and you can expect to see some of my own piece of ASOWE soon!
