Very well done.
I liked the twist at the end and how you told how the Grunts came into the Covenant - and how their homeworld was invaded.
Anyhow, keep it up, great poetry, great rhyme.

okay forget what I said about how grunts are stupid but what makes a grunt have the guts commit suicide whether it be by the knife or heaven forbid being deprived of methane. Millions and trillions of grunts have endured the Elites and higher ranking races abuse and why should this grunt not. If a grunt was surrounded by infection forms yes, maybe he'd commit suicide and if grunts were smart theyed relize that they, as canon fodder are important to the Covenant Empire and if they could just grasp the many oppurtunities to overthrow the Elites maybe they wouldn't have to commit suicide in the first place. Throwing a plasma grenade on the Elites back is a start.

And guys, just because something is not very intelligent doesn't mean that it can't fall into despair and hopelessness at their role as cannon fodder. It's perfectly logical that one might commit suicide over his own weakness.

Well Elites, Grunts, Jackals and Hunters can't talk English. Does that mean they're dumb? (Okay, maybe Hunters, but definitely not Elites.)

Good job. I liked it alot, and it kind of did make me feel sorry for them.
Even though you said it wasn't a comedy, the ending was pretty funny. Only a week?

Hey, nick, who was it that invented the "methane frag grenade" anyways? Because I saw something like that on the forum once. And it wasnt you. I volunteer to light the match on the grunt homeworld (as long as im at least 500 miles away)

Hehe, Nick, can you just imagine a whole fleet of starships approaching the Grunt homeworld... then taking out large matchbooks, setting them aflame, and hurling them into the atmosphere?
