I seriously doubt an open-air Phantom would be capable of H-O flight, let alone Slip-Space capability.

He was holding two of the Mega-huge Pistols? If he tried to fire one of those beasts, it would snap his wrists like twigs.
Species like 'Elite', 'Jackal', 'Grunt', and 'Prophet' are always capitalized. Don't forget important groups like 'Covenant'.

When a human enters the vaccuum of space, their blood flash-boils, their lungs explosively decompress, and a bunch of other little nasties. Humans don't do too good out there. So I doubt that makes much sense, but it doesn't compare to the little question about him surviving a one hundred million degree campfire.
