Several years after the fight against the covenant and the Spartans got tired of fighting each other at the common worlds like BloodGulch and SideWinder a new problem arose. A new form of species was discovered in a far planet 500 lightyears away from the ring Halo had been on. This species was known to man kind as the Sans. The Sans were a very resourceful group of aliens that had blown up a nearby planet to earth called Jeporia. Although Jeporia was a very large and inhabited planet, nothing could stand to the power and size of this group of aliens. They had many new kinds of weapons and vehicles that scientests checked over. None of them were in working condition and further study was impossible. Earth hoped beyond hope that this species would pass by there planet and go far away so that they would not be a threat any longer. Altough, that was not to be.
Commander N.M Keller stood at the hidden base on a humungous island off the coast of Porta Rica. This base had the latest technology including all the technology the covenant had used against them. Turrets, Banshees, and Ghosts were kept safe in the very heart of the base. Earth had not advanced in technology in 50 years as most had hoped. Guns were more accurate and some high-tech guns could shoot the length of the world, but that still probably wouldn't be enough to stop the incoming force of the Sans. Keller had recieved, one month ago, a transmission from an unknown source that had detected a huge mass hovering above earth. Keller had issued in every possible marine and Spartan available.
"I want every single covenant weapon and vehicle brought out to our disposle on the double," issued Keller to his most trusty marine Kongers.
"Can be done sir, right away," he replied. Kongers raced out the door to issue the orders to the supply workers.
Keller tilted his head back on his recliner chair and stared out the window at the awesome view of the ocean. He thought back to the days when he was teenager and was fighting in the war against the covenant. Those days were tough, but when it was all over the celebration had lasted for 10 days and nights. All the losses had effected the world including the regular MasterChief and the computer AI Cortana. They had saved almost a million lives by stopping an incoming mother dropship from ramming into earth. "Those were the days," he thought as a tear dropped down to his eye.
All of the sudden the base alarms started ringing so loud that Keller almost cryed out in surprise. The intercom came on and Rover issued to all the personel in the base.
"This is not a drill." "I repeat this is not a drill." "The Sans have breached earth's orbit and it will only be a matter of time before they strike earth," his voice rang thought the intercom and gasps rang though the air like wildfire.
Keller didn't need second thoughts he sprang across his room and dashed out the door and down the hall like a professional sprinter. 1 million men were tense and ready with every single weapon at hand. Battle Rifles, Homing Rocket Launchers, Snipers, Fuel Rods, and the other dozen or so weapons the base had. Every man and women stood still and silent as Keller entered the room.
"Well men we have been waiting a long time for this day and it's finally here. "Were going to give those damned Sans all we got. "Even if it means we die trying."
Every single personel in the room saluted and yelled in unison. "SIR, YES SIR."
Way up high in the air just below earth's atmosphere the alien commander Nazzuras eyed the pethetic planet he heard was called earth. "They can't really believe they stand a chance against us do they," he told to one the San captains.
"Ha, we haven't lost a battle in 50 million years," cryed out the San captain. "Earth might not even know were going to attack them and take what resources they have."
The commander just stood there and gazed out the window. The Sans sharp eyes could see for many, many miles. "They have a massive number of species down there," he told the captain.
"Nothing we can't handle commander," said the captain cockely.
"I sure hope your right, I really do."
