Chapter 1 :- Weapon Training
Jason Asbey grabbed the Battle Rifle of the stand, and proceeded up the ladder to weapon training. Jason Asbey was a Marine, he was training for field combat, he wanted to kick some covenant butt, the hard childhood they had caused him, for what they did to his father, he wanted payback. Jason layed in prone position and aimed for the dummy at the end of the range, he zoomed, then click, the bullet hit the dummy in the head.
"Nice shot!" a voice echoed. It was Captain Jacob Keyes. He was walking down a passage to the right of Jason. " If you carry on like that, you'll be in the field in no time, now try this."
Captain Keyes pressed a button on the column, the dummy at the end started moving, from left to right.
Jason layed down again. He zoomed, pulled the trigger, the bullet shot echoed down the range, as did captain Keyes' claps.
"You got potential, kid" He said, as he headed back down the passage.

Chapter 2- Shattered Dreams.
Jason Asbey was shifting in his bed, remembering his father. All he knew about how he died was what His seniors had told him, he had nightmares about this all the time. His fathers name was Mark Asbey. The legend, Mark Asbey.
He pictured his father laying on a table, being cut open by 2 Elites. He had been captured when he was on a mission to rescue a fellow officer, Captain Jacob Keyes. He saved keyes at the cost of his own life, and was a hero in the eyes of the marines.
Jason didnt like this, all he was seen as was "Marks son". He wanted to prove to them all he was more than just the son of a hero, he was a hero himself.
He dreamt about himself being given the Bravery Medallion, Captain Keyes looking on, feeling proud of him. But it was never gonna happen, he wasnt trained to be a spartan. And so far only Spartans had got the meddalion.
Jason Awoke with a flash, the alarm was going of, they were being attacked. The Captains voice boomed over the loudspeaker.
"Unit A to defence Positions!" He yelled. " JASON, to the bridge, ASAP"
Jason headed right down a passage, he turned left and walked straight into the back of something hard, he fell over. As he looked up he saw it, a Hunter. Charging its Fuel Rod Cannon and aiming a Jasons head.
Then BANG, The Fuel Rod hit the floor and the whole passage shook. Jason had just managed to roll out of the way in time. He picked a Battle Rifle of the rail to the side, And aimed it at the stunned Hunters neck. "click" the hunter screemed and blood sported everywhere. The Hunter fell to the floor with a thud.
The hunters blood Splashed all over Jasons new jacket, and pants. He turned to the right and headed onto the bridge. It was deserted
"Captain Keyes!" he yelled.
The he saw him, cowering on the floor, with 2 Brutes over him, getting ready to shoot. Without thinking, Jason lunged at the left hunter, and thumped him hard him the back, Keyes only just dodged the falling brute.
The other brute turned to Jason, Jason just dodged the Slug Thrower shot. He layed into the Brute, Hitting him 3 times, then drawing the battle rifle of his back, shot the Brute square between the eyes, he had done it, he had become a hero.
