The weapon clicks, I know its time, the time has come for me to die, my life shall end, but I will not weep, for my heart is stopping, no more to beat. I see them coming, the angels on high, they come to see me, and take me into the sky. I drop to the ground, I cannot breathe, my head is pounding as I sink to my knees. I feel the sorrow, the pain of my friend, who fought hard beside me, until my end. I feel his suffering, I feel his remorse, but I can do nothing, not even help guide him on his course. Slowly, I'm rising, ascending into light, no more will I battle, no more will I fight. I will lay here, forever, rest among the clouds, forever I will be protected, among this glistening shroud. I hope that they won't forget me, I hope my memory lives on, but I hope they never learn, that my name was never John.
