Forerunner Ship
The Chief had just left High Charity about two hours ago. He also left Cortana behind so she can destroy the ring and the planetoid filled with flood in case something went wrong. He ran down the hall and saw two jackals patrolling. He poped out from cover and shot both jackals with his carbine. He scurried over to the bodies and takes their pistols. He navigated through the hallways comming across light resistance, but when he reached this one door there were many guards.
" Lord Hood this is the Chief over." " Go ahead Chief." " I think I reached the bridge." " You will proceed into the bridge and kill the prophet and escape, but you will only have 30 minutes." The transmission got cut and the Chief thought on what to do. He got up and threw a plasma grenade down the hall sticking a brute and it also killed his hairy companion. He ran down the hall and ran upto a jackal. He grabbed the aliens arm and twisted and it broke instantly. He then bashed it in the head and killed it. He reached onto his belt and wielded his pistols and went beserk on every other thing that was alive. He dropped the deleted pistols and picked up a brute shot.
He walked slowly into the room pointing his gun at the prophet. " Don't move", said the Chief. " Or what? Kill me." " That won't stop the invasion of your beloved planet." An explosion had interupted the prophet and what came out was a giant green figure. It shot the prophet, but it floated out of the room. " Saving you again Chief?" The Chief knew that voice and a lightbulb poped into his head. " Kelly?" " Thats right." " What missed me?"
Kelly grabbed the Chief by the hand and took him into the hole where she came from. " Hold on tight." Once the Chief got in he also knew that voice as well. It was Dr. Halsey. The ship accelerated torward the Cairo and the Chief looked dwon. The clock had read 0:00. Then a second later the ship exploded. Five minutes later they docked on the Cairo.
Cairo Station
" How did you find us?" asked the Chief. " We picked up four Spartan signals. One in a ship and the other three on the ship were on now. " What?" the Chief asked questionably. Then from behind the Chief three Spartans walked out he turned slowly. " Fred, Will, Linda ready to fight. Shortly over the loud speaker came " Spartans to the bridge."
The five Spartans walked to the bridge. " Good job on the destruction of the ship, Chief", said Lord Hood. " Thank You, sir." " You and your team have a new mission." It is to land in New Mombassa and link up with Captain Dalton." " Copy that." The team went to the armory and grabbed what they needed.
The MC grabbed two SMGs and a rifle, Fred grabbed a rifle and a M90 plus explosives, Linda grabbed her S2 Sniper Rifle with extra ammo, Kelly grabbed two SMGs, a rifle, medical equipment, and the radio, and Will grabbed a rifle and a RL. The Chief and company ran to the pelican and set sail for Earth.
New Mombassa, Kenya
The pelican touched down and the Spartans set up a defensive perimiter. " Area clear" reported Fred. They came into patrol formation. Out of the dust from the dropship's landing came a marine. " Sir, Im Private J. Straus foloow me." The team followed the marine to the captain. " Welcome Chief." " We saw a pod drop into enemy territory a few miles that way.
Then a bullet from Linda's sniper killed a jackal ready to gun down the Chief. Then plasma fire rained down onto the team. Linda and Fred ran to the top of the building to get a better view while the others stayed on the balcony. The Chief led Will and Kelly down a ramp to the alien posistion. Will pointed his fingers making a sign torwards the enemy.
Kelly went left and Will went right while the Chief ran for cover behind a truck. " In posistion" reported Kelly over the com. " Fire" yelled the Chief and bullets and grenades fell onto the enemy.
Grunts and yells echoed from the alien's previous spot of fire. " Clear to come down" yelled the Chief. They came to the MC's posistion and two hogs drove beside the group. " You will have to use these to cross the bridge" said the Captain Dalton. " Thanks" said Will.
