HALO The Battle for Earth.
Story Members Include: Ryan (Master Chief), Jake (Ace of Turrets), Bryan (Scorpion King), and me (Evil Sniper).
Our mission is to recon the structure at sector 034. Scouts say that the facility should contain no more than 10 Elites. Our odds are not that good, but nothing Master Chief can't handle.

"We arrive at Sector 034." "Our Pelican has crashed, and is lying upside down in a field." "There is Covenant everywhere."
All I could say is. "There's no time to lose, we've got to move." "As I move through the open field, aware that I could either be careless and die or be smart and we could all come out of this alive." "I could only think of the main lyrics to one of my favorite Breaking Benjamin songs."
"Only the strongest will survive, Lead me to heaven when we die, I am the shadow on the wall I'll be the one to save us all…"
Ryan looked over his shoulder at me, at gave a slight smirk, not a smile, but I knew he was singing the same words, somewhere in the back of his mind, behind all the thoughts of war, blood, death, he was singing it, so it could be some peace that he felt out on this battle field."

"Ryan, let me know when you're in position, without giving yourself away."

Looking through the cross-hairs of my Sniper Rifles scope I place the red laser dot above two Honor-Guard Elite's that are headed around to the entrance of Halo's Control Center.

"Ryan, you in position?"

"Yeah, go ahead Justin, take them out."

"Ok, everyone, I'm in position you two follow Master Chiefs orders while I take out these two Honor-Guard Elite's. Remember we follow Master Chiefs orders at all times, Just like we talked about...Pile Out, Go…Go…Go…"

Jake jumps out over a ridge to my left and begins firing his large machine gun turret, using his .50 caliber tracer rounds. The guards see him, and begin pursuit. The doors open and four more trail after the two guards, all wielding Energy Swords.

"Bryan, you have six. Don't be a hero. Meet at the rendezvous with the Scorpion Tank. If no Scorpion's, just grab a Warthog, and meet us at the rendezvous point."

Two more Elite's come from the door leading to Halo's Control Center.

"Ok, Jake, you take out the Elite on the left of the entrance, and I'll take care of the other.

I get up and charge the doors, firing at the Elite on the left. Jake hits his mark with the right one. I missed the left Elite. The Elite lifts his Energy Sword and swings it, hitting the ground in front of me. Through the dust and smoke, I don't see the hole in front of me. I step into it and fall face down. I turn over to see the Elite in front of me about to slice me to bits. At that moment, his head explodes like cabbage. It was Jake, he had killed the Elite with his turret.

"You owe me one."

I get up and salute him, and head to the door. I begin trying to hack entry box, and manage to open the doors.

"Oh Crap! They've been collecting and storing our weapons and ammunition here! No wonder we had no Sniper Ammunition, Turret Rounds, or Scorpion Gun Shells after the crash!"

"Bad news," chimes in Jake, "You have a large group of wraiths and covenant troops headed your way."

I see them, and I shoot and just barely miss one with my Sniper Rifle, but it's too late. I go inside and quickly close the doors to the Control Center behind me.

"You better come up with a plan, pronto!" I said. "If we don't do something quick, we are going to die, each and every last one of us".

"No, Soldier, says Ryan, "You have orders from me to stay here and finish

"We'll be back for you Justin, stay here and try to take out as many as you can with you're Sniper Rifle." Master Chief said.

"Can you spare Bryan to stay and take out some of the Heavy Artillery with his Scorpion Tank?"
"Yes Justin, I can spare Bryan to help you, get to work gentlemen."
"Come with me Bryan, you can help with taking out the Wraiths and the Scarabs, ok?"
"Yes I will." Ryan said over the com. Radio channel.
"Ok Master Chief sir, we will get to work right away, see you at the rendezvous point."
"On the double, good luck soldiers." Said the Master Chief.
"Bryan, take out that Wraith." I said.
"Ok I'm working on it." He said.
"I am going to head up there on that ridge above the crash site, to see if I can get a better shot on that group of Elite's that just walked out of those doors."
Bryan came over the Com. Channel and said "I took all of the Elite's out with one shot." I looked over my shoulder and sure enough all the Covenant troops were completely wiped out. I called out over the radio to Bryan and said "You are the best at the Scorpion, I am glad the Master Chief chose you to be in our Squadron."
"Well it looks like its time to go meet up with the Master Chief and head over to the rendezvous point." I told him before coming back down to the field.
"Come on." I said as I climbed into the seat of the Warthog. "We need to move now, before the Covenant decides to regroup and come back."
Bryan climbed into the back of the Warthog and said "Let's go."
"I Heard Jake as he came across the Com. Channel." He said that the Covenant Forces were trying to regroup and that we needed to get out of there, and very quick too.
Back at the rendezvou point, the Master Chief (Ryan), Scorpion King (Bryan), Ace of Turrets (Jake), and me Evil Sniper (Justin) was all sitting there in the Pelican talking about our accomplishments out there on the battle field. We were safe for now, but if we didn't get out of here soon, we could be caught up in another one of the Covenants battles.
"Good work Spartans." Ryan said. "It was a huge struggle, but we all made it back, all in one piece.
"Ryan called out to me and said good work Justin, if it wasn't for you we could have never come close to getting into the structure."
"And just to think it was all fun and games to the Covenant."
As the Pelican slowed over our base in the middle of the canyon Blood Gulch, we stop to think about our victory, and what happened that day, and the things that we were so lucky to survive. These Spartans will never forget that day, and if we do then it was all for the better, if not better for are few, the better for earth…
