The Legend of Kazak'-Dun by Kane172

The Legend of Kazak'-Dun (a history of the Elites)
Date: 30 December 2002, 6:15 pm

Backdrop:

So you don't get confused this a legend of the race of Elites. It starts 6000 years ago on the elite home world of Zan-Karmon (roughly translated it means god world). This is a story of the unification of the elites race. So you know I'm using kie-nikon as the race of elites call them selves because I'll have to use elite in its proper context later and I don't want say the elite elite fought bravely or something along those lines. Also I can't say man, woman or child because there aren't ant and it would sound funny, and I don't fell like saying adult male and stuff like that all the time, so Adult male is kichock, Adult female is kifong, and youth is kilong.

Intro:

The grand beast fell dead at the feet of Azun-ra. He gave out a loud roar of victory he had defeated a nikoth, a huge elephant like beast that stood a shade over five meters tall the kie-nikon used every bit of this creature when they could get their hands a dead one but no one even attempted to kill one any more because tribes had been wiped out by a single one of these so how could one kichock take on a beast of such magnitude. But Azun-ra was no ordinary kichonk he was the Grand Chi (meaning absolute ruler) of the Kazak Empire the most powerful nation on all of Zan-Karmon.

Chapter 1

Kazak'-Dun stood tall looking over the gorge watching his enemy's convoy of riders infantry and a few krage (huge boar creature can be domesticated but rarely are due to the fact that they wont fight and are slow) carts filled with supplies for the neighboring tribe. He rose his black poorly crafted sword, mounted his flaknog (a hyena like creature a bout the size of a horse and easily domesticated) let out a booming roar and he and his small army of 200 kichock stormed down the cliff walls on their flaknog, waving their swords and roaring all the way down at an almost vertical angle until there was about fifteen feet until they would have splattered into the ground, but the flaknog being a very quick agile creature flexed its muscular hind legs and landed on flat ground in time to slaughter its enemy. Kazak'-Dun was slicing, slashing, and goring his foes when his flaknog caught a spear to the chest. So Kazak-dun did what any Ki-Nekon general would do let out a terrible roar and removed the head his loyal flaknogs killer and continued to fight with renewed rage and vigor. One of Kazak's soldiers rode next to him he jumped onto his allies' flaknog, grabbed the warped primitive bow on the side of his comrade's beast and began to pick off the remaining infantry. When finally his reinforcements arrived, as always late, because their paragrogs (a large bird creature with a wing span around thirty meters) would not cooperate. The bird riders finished off the remaining enemy forces, while Kazak and the other ground units counted and piled up the dead.
"Sire, we have lost one-hundred flaknogs and ninety-five kichocks". A black armored rider said to Kazak
"How many enemies?" Kazak asked
"The number is unconceivable lord Dun."
"Good. Now tell the others to take the supplies, burn the bodies, and re group back at the city."

The city of Cipher-Kigon (meaning invincible city in the mountain) was the greatest fortified city on the cotenant of Greychi and second only to the city of Kabuli on the cotenant Figo. Cipher-Kigons walls were fifty-five feet tall twenty-five feet wide, the river flowing into the city had spike rows bolting out of the water to stop naval invasion there were farms inside the city walls so the Ki-Nekons there could have food inside the city for years and resist any siege fathomable. The raiding party of Kazak'-Dun was returning home, within the city in the mountain with loads of plunder. The guard at the first city gates asked them where they had gone and searched they plunder for hidden enemies. They party cleared and continued towards the second gate at which there were more guards, more inquisitive questions, and amore terough search, then on to the final gate into the city where were even more guards and even soldiers on flaknogs guarding the city gate the questions became personal and the search went into each soldiers armor and clothing, but the kichocks were used to it reciveing the search once every year when they returned from their raids. The guard searching Kazak told him "Azun-Ra was leaving for his set of raids in two days and would like to speak to you before he leaves."

The Legend of Kazak'-Dun Chapter 2
Date: 3 January 2003, 1:09 am

Kazak walked into the cities military academy as he walked along the path the kilongs turned raised one fist towards him and uttered "ZAN-LON"(Gods be with you) then their fist rocketed back down and they continued what they were doing.  Kazak walked into a small building at the center of the complex.  Inside Azun-ra was standing waiting for him with both claws behind his back he greeted his brother by grasping his wrist with his right hand and laying his left on the other shoulder and receiving the same action, they both nodded and released.
"Kazak, I have something to show you." Azun-ra said with a hint of excitement in his voice
"What is that my brother?" Kazak asked with the fire of expectation in his eyes
"It is better to show you then tell you."
      "Show me then."
      "Follow me"
The two generals walked out of the back of the building onto a path leading to the back of the complex. They approached a wall with a tower on the other side Azun-ra opened a door in the wall and they came upon a spiral stair-case leading to the top of the tower when they reached the top, Kazak saw the most glorious sight any Kie-Nekon general could ever envision, one-hundred and fifty warriors all standing in perfect alignment in a new type of armor technically beyond anything his enemy could imagine.
"It is a new plate armor which is bonded to the flesh with Gangey syrup the sword is connected to the armor over the soldiers strong hand."  Azun-ra told Kazak as he starred in awe at this possibly invincible new armor at least until an other warlord discovers how to make it for himself. "Do you want a closer look?"
"Show me everything." Kazak said then he raised his right arm and let out a roar.  The soldiers responded with a roar paralleling their general.
"Come, there is much to see." Azun-ra commented to his brother
The two proceeded down the stair case entered the bottom of the tower then Azun-ra opened an other door on the opposite of the side they entered.  Walking along a path with these new soldiers practicing in their new armor against wooden dummies.
"Impressive Azun-ra who's idea was it so I can congratulate him on his innovative design?"
"Sir, her name is Toec-ra she is my brothers daughter and she has entered our new kifong regiment."
"My daughter came up with this new armor, I have been on raids too long it will be nice to see my family again the gods have kept them away from me too long."
"Speaking of you being away are there any changes in enemy tactics they are enforcing convoys they are using more and more riders and heavy infantry and even a few paragon riders, but they will not stand a chance against this new armor."
"I am training a special unit that will constantly be on raids from now until they die in combat, do you wish to meet them?"
"I would like to see this special unit."
  "Follow me."
They walked into a wide-open space where there was a ring of soldiers in the center all facing inward at the fight going on in the middle.  All of these soldiers had two swords jolting outwards from the top of their hands.  Kazak knew these men had battle experience.  The probably Azun-ra's personal guard by the looks of it.  Then he noticed one of the fighters in the middle it was Kosh his eldest son and Azun-ra's right hand advisor and warrior.  He was one of the few ambidextrous warriors in the city, Kazak was guessing that the rest of these warriors were the rest of them.

The Legend of Kazak'-Dun Chapter 3: The Battle of Fan-Kirgosh
Date: 3 January 2003, 4:16 am

Azun-ra sat upon his newly trained rangnorok (a large crocodilian beast that stands on six legs and could run twice as fast as a flaknog, it stands 3 meters high and is 5 meters long, its fiery red eyes and razor sharp fangs jolting out of the mouth strike fear into a warriors enemies.) waiting for the rest of his army to do the same on either there own rangnorok, flaknog or paragog.  When all the men were ready to leave the city Azun-ra turned to his warriors.
Azun-ra exclaimed with superiority in his voice "Today is the day we leave for victory.  When we return each of you will become one with his sword and armor.  You will be a new warrior with the glory of the gods upon you, and the glory of Cipher-Kigon greater because we will conquer rule and destroy all of our enemies none who resist us will live to see an other day for they will suffer death by the blade take no prisoners.  Show no mercy because you will receive none.  For the gods!"
The army let out a glorious roar and exploded out of the city gates with their minds set on destroying all who oppose them.  They headed east of Cipher-Kigon and were headed to the fortified city of Fan-Kirgosh (City in the planes) fairly weak compared to the might of Cipher-Kigon but still a possible threat to future raiding parties.
When the army of Azun-ra was within two miles of Fan-Kirgosh they were greeted by the cities main defensive force.  Though vastly out numbered Azun-ra and all of his warriors comforted their enemies' head on.  The ranks of Fan-Kargosh splintered and broke like waves on the Cliffside shore of the ocean.  The Elite ambidextrous warriors stormed through the enemy columns tarring off heads, removing arms and legs.  The soldiers of Fan-Kirgosh were under trained, under armed and malnourished.  The army of Azun-ra had an advantage in almost every area of combat.  They were almost showered in purple blood.  Killing Kie-Nikon and flaknog alike the warriors of Cipher-Kigon hailed death and destruction to all who opposed their might.  Azun-ra stampeded through the weakened enemy eliminating any foe that was within his reach his rangnorok eating flaknog caucuses as they stomped into the heart of the battle where the generals of the enemy city were barking out commands trying to take as many lives as they could, until Azun-ra started to slaughter them and their flaknogs as if the were rag dolls giving off minor resistance to their impending doom.  Out of the forest to the north of the battle came enemy reinforcements on flaknogs they were wielding throwing spears and a strange type of blade for after the spear was lost.  The riders stormed into the battle only to encounter mass confusion and disorder due to the loss of commanding control.  The enemy forces wandered aimlessly through the battle awaiting decimation.  Though they did fight valiantly to the last warrior their attempts were futile.
Azun-ra looked back at the smoke rising up through the two setting suns, knowing that the smoke was the burning rubble of the place formerly known as Fan-Kirgosh that is now no longer worthy of that name for the planes around it are no longer they are now swamps of blood and bodies with the grass stained purple and not even a single brick standing on top of an other in the area which used to be a city.

The Legend of Kazak'-Dun Chapter 4
Date: 4 January 2003, 5:30 pm

Two months after his raids began Azun-ra looked up at the sky that night he watched the gods (actually forerunner spacecraft that seemed like shooting stars in the night sky) zip back and forth in sky building a looking glass onto the planets surface to see who was righteous to them and who resisted their will.  As he watched the ring shape over the past few months Azun-ra was fascinated by the mighty ring of the gods, not yet complete it was only a half circle, but it was still a grand achievement because Azun-ra noticed its beginning at the battle of Fan-Kirgosh now a decimated ruin.  Just then breaking his train of thought he heard a quick snap of a twig and since they were almost fifty Gish paces (about a kilometer) away from any forest he knew that his enemy made a drastic mistake.  Azun-ra raised his left hand and glanced over to the watch guard with the horn, the guard nodded and readied his horn and was waiting for the signal.  Azun-ra's fist flashed down, as the horn blew enemy soldiers burst into a sprint towards the encampment.  The enemy bolted at adversaries, with jagged double-jointed legs, their eyes seemed to glow in the darkness with the fire envy.  By the time they reached the camp Azun-ra's army was barely waking, but they were ready to fight, they were fully armored, because their new armor was bonded to the skin, and swords were drawn.  The enemy didn't expect this kind of readiness, but held up a fight surrounding the camp while they were asleep.  As the warriors pressed inward towards the camp they tore the grass up from the ground with their hooves and were starting to through spears and arrows flying from the archers in the back.  Finally the enemies entered the now ready army for the few seconds felt like years to the awaiting and anxious warriors.  Who started to charge towards their foes with the thrill of victory in their eyes though the battle has barely started.  This startled their enemy and gave Azun-ra the upper hand it the wages of battle.  As the Elite Kie-Nekon soldiers endured through the battle mowing down enemies of all kind unsure of what they really are because of the opaque darkness.  Azun-ra still at the camp could only see scattered flames of torches in the midst of the chaos.  The weakened enemy raiders attempted to endure the night and fight until daybreak but the last soldier lost his soul minutes before the first sun rose.  As the sun rose and light flooded the land the warriors could finally see each other with blood dripping from their swords and armor and bodies at their feet.  The soldiers looked left then right trying to see if anyone was still fighting.  Then at the other end battlefield they could hear roars of victory they ran up the hill to see who it was when the saw who it was they also began to roar realizing that they fought over the hill deep into enemy ranks away from camp and that their brothers in arms had defeated an army massive enough to take on a small city.  All the could see from the top of the hill was dead bodies, pools of blood and their comrades standing with their swords raised to praise the gods who had blessed them with two red sunrises.  Meaning that the gods had blessed them that night.  Azun-ra turned to Kosh and asked if he had a count of the dead yet.
"Not yet General but we have three scouts counting as we speak."
"Good, we must start moving again if we are going to catch that Black Guard convoy by night fall.
