Miracle's do Happen ( part one)

"Sir we're in deep shit there surrounding us from all corners!" Screamed Corporal Kyle. "Alright men defensive maneuvers, you four set lotus mines at the doorways, the rest of you make yourselves useful."
Sergeant O'James ordered. The Marines had no chance in winning this fight. The Covenant were regrouping just down the tunnels under the last docking bay in Mombassa, Africa . What they needed was a miracle and fast. "Sir contact!" Yelled a Marine. As O'James swung his head around to look he saw a Brute charging down the hall roaring at the top of its lungs, gun flaring, drool raining out of its mouth
One of those things which took out half his squad. "FIRE!" O'James bellowed. Hundreds of rounds flew down the hall making the walls cough up dust until it created a cloud of dust. Nothing was moving, "ROAR!"
The creature kept charging towards the Marines. "RESUME FIRE!"It was too late. It leaped ten feet in the air. "BOOMMM!" the creature landed on one of the lotust mines."Here they come!" Kyle yelled .The last thing O'James would think of, was to run, but he had to keep his men alive and defend the docking bay so he declared "Retreat!".
September 30,2552 (Military Calender) Inside Underground tunnels,
Earth, en route to Mombassa surface.
"OH GOD NO GET IT OFF ME!"A Marine screamed as a plasma grenade landed on his helm.
Corporal Kyle ran over ripped the helm off his head and chucked it back to the enemy, He heard screech's of grunts being blown to pieces and Elite's trying to get their soldiers act together.
"Common this are time to get the hell outa here."Corporal Kyle said as he helped up the shocked Marine.
"There theirs the Docking bay or what's left of it," Coporal Kyle said sarcastically. "Alright men we must defend this docking bay with our lives." "WAT SAY YOU?" O'James asked. "AAAIIIIEEE!" the squad bellowed, "I say your nuts were out numbered hundred to one!" said the Shocked Marine "were screwed why cant you realize that WE ARE SCRE…" O'James looked down and saw a blue glow protruding from the marines chest, the marine fell to the floor to reveal the enemy had caught up with them
That very second the marines lifeless fell to the floor plasma shots whined through the docking bay. "DUCK & COVER!" O'James ordered his men.
0201 hours, September 30, 2552
(Military Calendar)Earth, Mombassa, Africa.
O'James looked over the debris, which was keeping his men alive, or so he thought when the Hunters lumbered into the docking bay readied their canons. An Elite yelled and the first barrage of blasts came at him and his men "BANG!"The first of the attack struck killing two of his men. He looked to his left and saw a dead radioman he picked up the receiver tried to call for reinforcements " This is Second squadron we need help down here!" no reply "DAMN IT!" he cursed. Just then he heard a voice on the radio the Admirals voice boomed in the receiver
"WITH ALL DUE RESPECT CORTANA HALF MY INFANTRY IS DOWN HERE WHAT DO YOU MEAN REINFORCEMENTS ARE ON THE WAY?" " Admiral you'll just have to wait and see."Cortana said sarcastically
Just then a Pelican flew into the docking bay and fired its 70.mm chain guns at the battalion of covenant.
The enemy was being plowed down, sending the grunts into a panicky fit , the Elite's standing their ground. "MEN OPEN FIRE!" a Plume of blood flew up when the chain guns ran right threw the enemies. "egres thei opyt!" the Elite Bellowed the order it gave sounded like a retreat.
When the enemy fully retreated the Pelican landed to reveal four Spartans and a Sergeant.
O'James walked up to Master Chief and said "you got here just in time sir…" Master Chief lifted his finger and whispered "sssshhhh." He knocked O'James to the floor and lifted his Battlerifle . He fired three bursts into Elite warrior, the rounds punctured through it's shield , Just then the rest of the Spartan's joined in and opened fire little plumes of blood appeared as the Elite howled in anguish it fell to the floor and drowned in it's own pool of blood. "Rot in hell!"Sergeant Johnson yelled. The MC walked up to O'James and helped him up, just when Master Chief was about to speak Cortana interrupted "Chief I'd like to sit around and chit chat all day but we have a job to do so let's keep moving more Marines need help LET'S GET GOING!" Cortana yelled.
" Alright Spartans you heard the lady stop covevant forces from taking control of the city."
Master Chief explained as he looked at his spartans "Understand?" " AIE SIR!"The Spartans said. "Move out!"
