Nomi's Paper Spartans
Nomi began making paper Spartans for friends who went to a LANfest in Ohio last fall - since then, she's added extra people to the list, and has been experimenting with more detail. Each spartan is made by pasting together meticulously-cut snippets of construction paper, and each one matches its owner's XBL icon and color scheme. They're an astounding amount of work, and she just keeps making more! Check out her thoughts on these here.
Update 20 Jan 2007: Nomi has been asked, a number of times, for help by people who want to make their own Spartans. She's obliged, with written instructions and a template you can print out yourself.
