Action smaction. If you read chapter 1 of my series, you wont find any action in mine...yetBut gruntkillers right, you have a basic, so you have a lot of potential!

it may not have any actiion but you set yourself up for what could be an excellent story, every series should have a story behind it and from what ive read you seem to know what your doing and are setting yourself up for a great story

Yeah. I realize that Part 1 doesn't have any action, but it was necessary to explain all the technological advances in one part so it wouldn't become boring. The Covenant will find Earth, and let's just say that Spartan 117 might find his way back as well...
