heh I wasnt going for the matrix theme originally but I realized how much of a rip off it was when what I really wanted to just show that he was a puppet of ONI just like a the rest of the spartan IIs were puppets of Halsey. See it's that title, the run on structure is the stream of consciousness, the panic, the anger. Heh see I'm doing it again.

Cool. I like the Matrix-inspired theme for Scott's simulation. You clearly bring across his confusion by writing the parts about his adventure in the sim in disjointed and run-on sentences.

I'm not done with this chapter, there's a lot more exposition needed on Yu and his daughters, plus I need to make it clear that the literary device i go for here is the change in tone as the focus shifts from different characters. Which I know in this one is really confusing. Sorry for the hassle, by the way I'd like to give a shout out to "the collector" who always makes me feel like a badass for always posting for me. thanks for the encouragement, I'll have more up soon
