Don't forget, if the Covenant were so superior, wouldn't they have a few weapons to just barrage or downright destroy Earth?

well, as previous accounts[aka fanfics]have said, the Phophets are an uptight bunch. IMO, the covenant are dumb, but they still see the use for earth. Plus, their goal is to destroy HUMANITY, not earth. As i said in there, Zanozi was worried that since Kaani couldn't be stopped easily, Massive Covenant casualties could result, maybe even rendering Earth useless. I know all the religious stuff too, but the Covenant HAVE to be at least trying to suck earth dry of resources before they destroy it.
BTW, I will have a comp soon[YAY BABY!!!!!] so the any new fanfics will have to wait[ya ya ya just don't send me the Blaster now LOL] until maybe....1 week...hopefully? Doesn't really matter anyway, I need some time to think about the mess I have created LOL.

Good job, but i'm confused.
Are the covenant trying to capture earth or destroy it?
If destroy it, why don't they just let Khaani go about his little rampage while they pull out.
