Yes, please don't get discouraged. I liked it, thought your next post would have been out already. Oh well.

yah I see why you wanted to really explain the TADD, but also I've been mixed up with this series, and the series: "The Shadows". I don't know why, but I keep thinking that you are on Reach(not Halo), back in the past(not in the future), and last time I thought you were raiding a covenant cruiser, I finally realize I'm reading your story when no good guys are diying, lol. I think I just need to pay more attention. Must....pay....more attention....or else...*dies and falls out of his chair*

well, they are not on a planet. on the ring world, the ring is probably only several kilometers wide, so you could see a battle beside the ring that would only be 5 or six kilometers away. in the story, the human battlecruisers jump into the space directly beside the middle of the ring. i probably should have clarified that. besides, i wanted to add my idea of the TADD without actually having to be on a ship.

I wanna know how this guy can see space battles from the surface of a planet!

hmm... diablo has a good point. One would think by the title "Helljumpers" that the characters would be on impossible missions -- Jumping into hell. I suggest you not give away too much of what happens in your stories beforehand just in case you decide to change something later. ;-)

sorry about the whole covie thing. i got carried away. this is my first fan fic. i just gotta learn to diversify my writing. i have chapters 1 through nine all written, so no friendly deaths for a little bit. nonessential people will start to die soon, maybe somebody from the 229th, dont worry.

Why can't they just say "Covenant" once in a while, instead of always saying "covie" and "covies" eh just my suggestion. and the whole capitallization thing on the title is getting annoying, but I see why you do it. Those were my only suggestions. I'm waiting for a least one private to die still(can't a marine at least stub his toe on a rock or something, to add tradgedy to the story???).

Rob and the main character are Master Sergeants.

Not bad, the foreshadowing of a big battle perhaps? By the way, what rank is Rob and the main character?
