John may have defeated Halo, but this i have to say is way beyond his or any Spartan's capability. It would seem that to kill one of those things would require a ship-grade MAC round at near point blank range.
There's a diff. between, something bieng improbable to do and something impossible to do.
Your story cleary defines a task that is physically impossible, for any of the spartans including John, regardless their combined strength.

in this situation, there is no begining of the end. Its the End, and no-matter what happens, i doubt earth will fall. But given what you've written. You make it sound like annihilating earths is peanuts and, humans are ants under the Covenant feet, even though humans are a fairly well match for the Covenant.
