Walker, I'm glad your asking these questions because it saves me from having to do the same. Great story, I'm goin to start the Shadow of the Archons soon, but I've got my own fanfics to work on for now.

Hehe, no, close though.
The only ones that made it off Medusa were the ones on the Ark.
Max and Croaker stayed there with all the rest and continued the fight against the Flood to reclaim their planet.
The rest of what you said is correct.

I apologize for this being so late and I am positive that you no longer check this comment section. However, I cannot pass the opportunity by to congratulate you on a job perfectly executed. The series alone was brilliant, but this final chapter in your story breaks the ice. Answering every question, asking new ones, and the salvation of what was to be lost. It is a shame that we no longer hear from you too much, if not at all. Nevertheless, I had to let you know of the perfect writing you have unleashed.

Too true, i couldn't agree more. Nice work with the series, Wado. I agree with the others on the regards that you should either 1)start another series, or 2)write a book. I liked what you did with Arch, though. Anyways, nice work, oh mighty master of words!

Please write more. This has to be the best series since PanZer's "Operation False Prophates" so write some more.

Wow Sarge, I don't know if I could write a book, it got really tough near the end of this series because I already had planned out the story ending. For me, I write best when the stuff is fresh in my mind. If I think about it too much, I lose the inspiration to write it down. I sort of resolve too much in my mind instead of on paper. I might have write about the Archon Flux Wars or the Portals of the Old Ones to get anything that big and that stuff happens way before the Master Chief. And PanZer I did figure out that your were only asking a question, that's why I wrote a new comment. So no worries and good luck on that book. Hey, if you really want to get down to talking about taking ideas, you may notice that I treat the humans and the Archons very much like the ancient Greeks and the Covenant very much like the ancient Romans. How about that. LOL.

Just to clarify, I am in no way criticising. I've got the beginnings of a fifty page story on my comp....started it like when I was 12. Parts of it are blatant rip-offs of other books. That's why I stopped... it was kinda cheesy. But I'm not saying yours is cheesy. I am just saying that everyone steals a name, or a place, or something at one time or another. Just wanted to make sure you realize I was just asking a question and not criticising. Okay....this post makes me sound really dumb, but I don't wanna rewrite it, so I'm gonna shut up now.....

PLz right another series and make it longer. Make it like 40 chapters and make it into a book. (I really think you could)

Shai'tan is also the true name of the Dark Lord in the Wheel of Time series (think 'Sauron' from LotR). Of course, this really doesn't mean anything, since everyone in SciFi inevitably steals something from someone else and if the least Wado does is take a name that a few dozen writers have already used, then he's on a brighter path than most. I often find myself using idea's (subconsciously, of course) used by other people, it's rather hard not to, especially when you don't know you're doing it! The beauty comes when you notice them, rewrite them with your own spin, and end up creating something almost totally new but with the same effects (etc) as the original. Anywho, nice job, Wado. I enjoyed it very much.

PanZer I think I mis-understood your questions, here's the skinny: 1) No, the name Shai'tan not from Dune. 2) Yes, the name God Emperor is from Dune, never read the book, only took the name.

I only saw two movies of Dune, but I have no doubt that there might be some similarities between my writings and many others, when I like something I think about how the idea might fit into the universe I'm writing about. I was introduced to the name Shai'tan by a friend of mine more than 20 years ago, since then Shai'tan has been one the biggest and baddest in my universe. My friend probably did get the name from a book series but not Dune, I can't think of the books but they were really popular at the time. I might even be able to dig up some of the conceptual art he made for Shai'tan. As for the name God Emperor, you're right on the money. I hear that and thought it be a perfect name for a devine ruler. Only if you read my entire series you would know that although my God Emperor did save his people from darkness, he was later revealed to be a simple machine. You know that can't be from Dune as I believe they did not trust Artificial Intelligence. So yes I did get the names from elsewhere but I don't think the characters themselves have any bearing on anything else, well maybe then again that's not always true, the hall of champions in the Omega game (Return part 6) does have some characters you might see around in other stories here on HBO -- I got them with a little help from my friends.

I've got some questions..... Did you get any influence from Dune? I noticed a couple similarities.1) Shai'tan. This is what the Fremen call the sandworms in Heretics of Dune. First it's Shai'hulud, but later in the books they begin calling it Shai'tan.2)The God Emperor. As in Leto II. This one could just be coincidence. But, I'm just curious.

This chapter is dedicated to the few, the... Well you know who you are. By the way, this chapter is the final chapter and warning it got really long. I noticed I missed some words in places, maybe subconsciously I was trying to shorten the story - not! I just goofed up.
