I wouldn't just look over Halo poems, if you're serious about poetry than you need to be good at poetry in general. Once you have a firm foundation in that, you can do any form you want with pride.

I totally agree with Main there. Try looking at other poems like by me, or Main. Learn from other, but you'll become better. I guess.
