Not bad at all. The style is good, the plot engaging. In regards to your post below...if that is the case say it in the story. I warn you that it sounds like a magic line (if something is completely implausible just chalk it up to magic), i.e. you don't have a good answer so you just came up with these clauses which make the story work. Oh well, it cannot be changed now. It would be worth your while to see these things before you post and fix them then though... Good luck.

he's not coveneant, as you will find out in later chapters. i have a nice suprise for you
secondly, he isn't really loose, the placed a special device that will pump a paralysing substance into him if he turns on them
thirdly, the weapons have a device that prevents them from firing, if the humans doon't want him too
fourthly, at the end, i wrote that he had proven to the humans that he was on their side

Good story. The only thing wrong is I don't think the Techs would just let some kind of Covenant super-soldier roam freely in the base loaded up with all those guns.
