Good start. If you wish to write more poetry, the number one thing you need to do is work on meter...that is the lifeblood of good poetry. If you can get that down, then the rest is easy. Rhyme is also good.
And please don't try any free verse gibberish. :)

Does anybody know of the poem that Corporal Owens from TRtZ wrote in the prologue? Well, I'm thinking about submitting that. Would that sound good?
(I think that came out wrong)...

And this is NOT my first poem. "This Battle" is my first poem.

Okay, first off, Rusty must have been drunk when he wrote that. And everybody knows that drinking gives you hangovers.
I just created this out of boredom, thinking, "Aw what the hell? I'll send it and see what they think."

Rusty, wtf...? I like this poem, Rhyme doesn't matter and Fanfiction doesn't need to be DIRECTLY related to the "Halo Storyline", whatever that is. The poem is a great representation of what the marines go through in the Halo Universe.
As for Nike, I'd say that you may want to try to put a form of rythym in you poem. Still good anyway.
10/10

Rusty, do you actually have any work posted here? If you don't then you can't talk about how crappy YOU(I stress the you, because you're the only one) think somebody elses writing is. If you actually do have work submitted here than I will concur with scope's assesment of the situation and pronounce you 'high'. Didn't you read that it was his first poem? It may not rhyme, but not all poems do! In fact, some of the most meaningful poems don't rhyme!

Ok...this is quite pointless. Yea who cares about the mud and $hit on the Pillar of Autumn, and what the heck was that about the families? I dont think that they ever wrote anything about families in the entire storyline of the "Halo" saga. WHO CARES, THIS IS WORTHLESS!!!!!!!!! 1/10
