Just see the M6D pistol as the Desert Eagle for gods sake and see the sniper rifle as the M82A1, .50 AE is the mesurments of the M6D,wether as the rifle round is .50. AE standing for action express, witch is a pistol round.

Caliber is the width of the bullet itself, measured in hundredths of an inch. A standard millimeter measurement for a bullet refers to the width as well, but in millimeters. .50 is 12.7mm. Same thing. No question involved in this. There might be a difference between the length of a current .50 caliber handgun bullet and the M6D's bullets, but no reference is made to this, one way or another. So I can't say with perfect certainty that the gun fires the same ammo, but the width of the bullet is the same. 1 inch=2.54 centimeters, .5 inches=1.27 centimeters of 12.7 millimeters.

Yes, lets. We all have our own opinion, and only offical word from Bungie will change 'em.
Maybe we should send 'em a letter or something.

It doesn't say that, but a 12.7mm calibur in a pistol is a .50 AE. Common knowledge for those with monthly subscriptions to three gun magazines.

No!, not until you show me where it says "The M6D pistol fire .50 caliber AE rounds" Then we can drop it.

They bloody well are. The M6D shoots a .50 cal AE round, the same as today's Desert Eagle. When their is a x99mm at the end of the measurement it means it's wider and longer, but still a fifty cal.
What I'm trying to get around to is that the M6D is not a .45! It's a .50cal variant.
Let's just forget 'bout it OK?

DUDE, they don't measure the same as far as grains of bullets go! .50 Caliber is different than 12.7mm. They measure the same literally, but they don't measure the same by the measurements of munitions. They aren't the same.

12.7mm is the same as .50 inches. Do you agree the LAAG is a .50? If you do then you should know the insturctional manual states it's a 12.7x99mm. Which is a .50 cal. The x99 only means it's longer than the pistol version.

Haha, notice it said 12.7mm rounds, not .50 caliber rounds. And since caliber and milimeter arent measured the same, that statement holds no relevance.

This is to clarify it for you AB343:
Pg. [17] of Halo: Combat Evolved Insturction Manual
M6D Pistol Quote from text: "This pistol is a recoil-operated, magazine-fed handgun. It is issued with a smart-linked scope capable of 2x magnification (press and hold the Right thumbstick). IT FIRES 12.7MM SEMI-ARMOR-PEIRCING, HIGH-EXPLOSVIE ROUNDS. It can shoot either semi-automatic ro automatic fre (pull and hold the Right trigger for automatic fire)." End quote from text.
Just had to get that out, LMBAO

PELICANS, its the same group from my last series, its a continuation of my last series. Read back and see what I said about the group of soldiers.

Well, you have to consider the fact that the forces depicted here were pretty much all they could muster without taking too much from other battlezones. And they have pelicans.

Not too shabby, 9/10. I have one problem with this story. That large force only had four Scorpion tanks and no APCs. What's up with that? They would need at least a Battalion of tank-heavy armor. But, if your Marines' legs get tired, it's not my fault...
Keep it up, though.
