For you, war is just a game. For you, nothing like that is real. There is nothing for you to think about, Nothing for you to worry about. For you, war is just a game.
When you think of war, You think of all that you have seen. You think of all that you have heard. But will never truly understand, Never understand what war means. Because, for you, war is just a game.
For me, war is nothing like a game. For me, war holds much more than a definition. When I think of war, I think of all that I have felt. I think of all that I have lost. I think of all that you don't know. But still, for you, war is just a game.
For me, war means feeling the tense atmosphere around you. For me, war means actually caring about something, Something other than myself. For me, war means fighting for one's nation, Dying for one's nation, Dying for one's friend. Even still, for you, war is just a game.
When I think of war, I think of all that I have lost. I think of all of those who have suffered. I think of all of those who have died. I think of all of those who fight for you right now. Of course, through all this, for you, war is just a game.
Feeling it is different: The bullets flying through the air. Explosions following close behind. Loved friends falling right in front of your eyes. Going back for someone, In an attempt to leave no one behind. When you see it all for yourself, go ahead and say: "For me, war is just a game."
When you lay on a battlefield, Bloodied and burnt. Then it will be your turn to feel, Your turn to hurt. While your family sleeps in comfort, You lay in the dirt. No longer for you, will war be just a game.
I can only hope that one day, One day you will see. That war is not something to play, Or just view through a screen. War is not a happy time, War is not all fun and play, War is not some word you know; War is not a game.
