Anger against the war they have been placed in
Anger against the impossible battle they are striving to win
Anger against the graphic violence around them
Anger against everything
Through a soldiers eye I see horror
Horror of a fellow soldier fall to the ground, never to get up
Horror of the look on a man's face as a bullet meets its target
Horror of war
Through a soldiers eye I see fear
Fear of the violent truth that awaits them
Fear of the bloodthirsty battle being fought
Fear of death
Through a soldiers eye I see war
War killing thousands as if they were dominoes, waiting to fall
War killing families and shattering dreams
War killing life
