Chronicles of Prizefighter and Amiddeus:Episode I: Foundation
Date: 22 May 2005, 11:46 PM
Emerging out of room one, the imfaumous "Amiddeus" was carrying an SMG and a magnum, and he was waiting for his sheilds to charge back. He had just gotten into a scuffle with "Demonhead" and had ended it by planting 20 rounds into the opponents skull. He had entered the rumble pit map with high hopes, but hadn't recived much. Only five minutes into the match, he had nearly been killed. Twice, and had only gotten one kill so far. He saw another warrior running towards him. "Prizefighter" was his code name, and he was moving up pretty quickly in the ranks. His sheild recharged and his SMG and magnum loaded, he charged Prizefighter with speed. Letting out a fury of bullets, Amiddeus felt comfortable now, for he could hear the beep beep of the sheild low indicator on Prizefighter. Suddenly, Amiddeus felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. His sheild indicator read zero, and he realized that it was his sheild low indicator going off! Strafing to the left Prizefighter's ongoing rant of SMG plasma rifle combo, Amiddeus jumped down to the bottom level, did a quick roll, and dived behind a wall. "Bastard!" he yelled. Amiddeus stood up and turned to shoot his magnum, but heard a "click" as the hammer bent down on the bullet that wasn't there. Knowing that his SMG ammo was low, Amiddeus looked around desperatly for a weopen, any weopen. Prizefighter stopped and ducked behind a wall to reload, which gave Amiddeus a chance to sprint to the other side of the arena. Raising his spirits, was a used rocket launcher sitting next to a corpse. He checked it, and it only had one rocket left, but he didn't care, he just wanted to move on to the next level. Thats when he realized that he was the only warrior left, besides Prizefighter. He picked up the rocket laucher and made his way back to Prizefighter. Looking around, however, there was no sign of him. He covertly went up the stairs to his right, and to his unsatisfaction, there was emptyness there. "Tink-tink" "What the hell was that?" Amideus thought, as the ensuing explosion from the frag grenade made him jump. " Funny" he thought, that grenade was nowhere near me. He then heard the 3 burst blast of a battle rifle, and something wizz over his head. Amiddeus dropped instantly, and rolled to a wall where the only thing that could see him would be someone standing right over him. He got up, pressed himself against a wall, and went to the side and peered around the corner. He saw Prizefighter reloading his battle rifle, and Amiddeus didn't hesitate to let off his only rocket. The rocket sailed towards its target...
Prizefighter just emptied the clip of his battle rifle, and was reloading it when he heard something. He jumped at the last second, avoiding the blast of the rocket. He dropped the battle rifle, and took out two magnums from his belt. He sprinted towards the sender of the rocket, Amiddeus. Prizefighter knew too well who Amiddeus was. Prizefighter didn't like him much, and would love the chance to kill him and take his spot. Many people looked at Amiddeus with fear, but not Prizefighter. As Prizefighter sprinted to the wall where Amiddeus was, he prayed that was the last rocket, and he took the risk. Diving over the corner, he let out the blast of both magnums, and hit nothing. Confused and a little dazed, Prizefighter realized what had happened a moment before the nose of the SMG was cradled on the back of his head. Amiddeus had picked up an SMG and circled around the wall as Prizefighter dived behind it. "This is where it ends a-hole" Prizefighter heard. Then breaking the breif silence was a loud beep. Then the unmistakable buzz of 343 Guilty Spark. "Time is up" he said." You two put on quite a show, and I've decided to let you two be partners for the new "double team" match varient". Amiddeus and Prizefighter looked at each oter, and didn't like the idea of competing with each other. They started to argue about it to Guilty Spark, saying that they'd perfer the rumble pit, and that they dispised each other. "Well, I could just feed you two to the the flood, and that would settle the dispute" Guilty Spark said. The arguing stopped, and the two warriors had decided the best of it. " If you still have any objections, then say something, otherwise stay quiet." The two didnt say anything. " Good! Then if you'l follow me, we'll go on to the double team battle right now." and the three of them were teleported to the next arena...
The Chronicles of Prizefighter and Amiddeus:Epdisode II:Turf
Date: 24 May 2005, 4:26 AM
Appearing out of no where were Prizefighter, Amiddeus, and Guilty Spark. "This is one of four of our newly constructed maps, and it's name is Turf. You two will be the red team, and the two arriving shortly are the blue team. Their codenames are Wondersnipe and Inevitable Death. The match starts in 3...2...1... begin." and he was gone. Without a moments hesitation, Prizefighter turned to Amiddeus and said "Listen here dueschbag, I dont care who you are, but I'm not takin' any orders from no body, clear?" "Crystal" snapped back Amiddeus, and with that they both went their seperate ways. "Asshole" Amiddeus muttered under his breath. If there weren't such strict guidelines of play, he would just kill Prizefigher and take the other two on by himself. He didn't need him. He strided over behind what looked like a medical tent and found a battle rifle in a small aclove, while Prizefighter grabbed another SMG and strode briskly up a small road to the right...
On the other side of the map next to a disabled Scarab, Wondersnipe and Inevitable death decided on a quick stratagy, not knowing that Prizefighter was eavesdropping on their conversation. "Ok, you go around to the right and see if you can find a Warthog or something," Wondersnipe said,"and I'll go to the left and get a sniper rifle and find a good hiding place." Wondersnipe's name wasn't just for show. He was a true marksman, being an elite sniper and tuning his skills ever since he entered matches. He once picked off eight opponents with only six remaining bullets( two bullets went through two people) in under 15 seconds. He was a force not to be underestimated...
Up on a balcony was Amiddeus, running down away from the medical tent, being cautious and battle rifle in hand. About to his right, he saw a small flash of blue appear then disappear into a blown open warehouse of some sort. Amiddeus slowed to almost a walk and waited a few seconds for something to happen. Suddenly, a warthog burst out of the doors, taking Amiddeus completely by surprise. It screeched to a stop and the blue person inside leaped into the back seat where the mini-gun was and opened fire on Amiddeus, who had dropped to the ground and started shooting his battle rifle. Getting low on sheilds, Amiddeus rolled to his left where the bullets couldn't reach him. He heard the firing cease and the bullets stopped zinging over his head. Amiddeus did a quick reload, waited briefly for his sheilds to recharge and slowly crawled back to his origanal spot. There was the blue Spartan(Inevitable Death) walking towards him doing a small victory dance. "This obnoxious son of a bitch thinks I'm dead,"he thought. He slowly balanced his battle rifle, and aimed at Inevitable Deaths head. With four quick bursts of fire, Inevitable Death was sitting against a wall with a smeer or bright red blood all over the wall beind him. Breathing a sigh of relief, Amiddeus jumped off the wall, picked up the shotgun left behind by Inevitable Death, and ran to find the other guy...
--------------------5 minutes earlier----------------------
Prizefighter ducked back down behind a crate as the two blue spartans went seperate ways. Grasping his weapon of choice, duel magnums, he waited for Wondersnipe to come his direction. Wondersniper looked around, probably for a sniper rifle, and started to head into Prizefighters awaiting arms...
"Is this guy stupid or something?" Wondersnipe thought as he walked seemlingly oblivious to the red guy hiding behind a box. Wondersnipe was holding an SMG in his right hand and a Brute Plasma Rifle in his left hand. He may be an expert sniper, but that didn't mean he wasn't equally as lethal with any other weapon. He decided to taunt his opponent and looked him dirctly in the face. Then, putting his SMG in his armpit, raised his right hand and flipped him off. Then, in a flash, he took out the SMG and oopened up on him...
Awaiting his prey, Prizefighter wathced as his adversary walked towards him. But then he did something unexpected. He looked right at him! Then flipped him off! He had known he was there the entire time! Outraged, and suddenly under heavy fire, Prizefighter opened up with his duel magnums. The intense battle was over in an instant. Prizefighter was left standing, and he had the advantage, for he was under partial cover while Wondersnipe was totally open. None of the heated plasma so much as touched Prizefighter. All that was left of Wondersnipe was a limp corpse laying prone on the ground. Not a second later, Amiddeus came running in with a shotgun. "Aww...Did I miss the fun? You shot up our boy here pretty bad, didn't leave me anything," Amiddeus said as he kicked the lifeless corpse with his boot. "Yeah, that faggot had it coming, he had the nerve to flip me off." Prizefighter replied, not being able to wipe the grin off his face. Then came the hum of 343 Guilty Spark. "I am amazed at you two! Not so much as a scatch on either of you, while our blue friends weren't quite so lucky." He motioned to Wondersnipe. "And now, off to the n...wait, hold on... I'm recieving a message." Guilty Spark stayed hovering a while, and then perked back to life again. "It seems there has been an attack on Earth. Covenant forces have broken through Earths defenses and have positioned themselves in areas all over the world." Prizefighter and Amiddeus looked anxiously at each other, not knowing what Guilty Spark was saying. Did he want them to fight on Earth? Guilty Spark finally said "They need all the help they can get, and you two have pretty much proven yourselves worthy to fight a real war. Quick there is no time to lose." and with that they were teleported out of the arena...
