Blood Written...
Chapter 1-Just the beggining
"LZ looks clear, Ok were coming in"
"Go,Go,Go!"
"Keep close, Hurry towards the door"
"Alright, Set up a perimeter and wait for the captain"
"Sir!"
"Which is wierd right? I mean something scrambled its insides"
"Sarge! Listen...."
"Wheres that coming from Mendoza?"
"I dont know sarge....Wait There! Via!"
"Dammit shoot your weapon!"
"ahhhhhhhhhhh"
I remember it all inside my head. The flood let loose on the human race at alpha ring.
I cant stop remembering the sounds of screaming marines. I knew it would stay with me, Even here
on the Pillar Of Autum II. It was made to honor everyone on the ring that died. We hoped we wont serve
the same fate as the original. We were stationed to hold out near earths final defence before earth itself.
"Alright here they come!"
I heard one of the marines say. The POA II is much bigger then its predaccesor.
It held over 100,000 Marines. Of course this came to a disavantage, We were a big target and had to stay close to earth due to all the supplies needed to run POA II. Guns were a primary defence on POA II. 5 stationary offence cannons
and 8 linear cannons for defence reasons only. We knew it couldnt last to long toward all of the covenant on their way to Earth.
But we planned to serve some major damages to them before then.
"Whats your name corpral?" Said the Sargent
"Brent lane, Sir!"
"Alright Lane your with my squad"
"Yes, Sir!"
"You'll help us cover airlock C-10 through C-15"
"Yes Sir!"
"Alright lets go! Get ready marines"
We geared up at the armory and headed down stairs to the C-Airlocks.
The armory is on the 5th floor of the Autum. The A airlocks were on 1st floor
B- second, C-Third, and so on untill the 6th floor which was the top bassically of POA II
Each A-F airlocks had 20 Airlocks, 10 on each side of the Autum; East, West, North, and South.
Its confusing for the rookies like me, but to earlier enlisteds like sarge it was home.
"Keep up Lane!, Alright here they are, Make sure to stay away from the locks incase of explosions."
We didnt want to make the same mistakes like our For-Fathers did.
"All men in battle stations, 15th Company guard the Engineers Quarters.
18th Company Guard the Technician's Posts."
Captian Quater yelled over the intercom.
"You heard the man let roll"
I heard down the hall, apparently 15th company.
We watched all around the airlocks. I counted 5 airlocks 10-15. We had 20 men in our company.
around 4 men each lock and a few extras for patrols.
"Alright i want some partrols to watch the surronding
areas, Yurek and you 2 partol down the east hall."
"Sir!"
Yurek, Blane, and Zen said at the same time nearly
"Lane!, Take Simmons and Breciano"
"Sir!"
We yelled together.
"The rest stay here with me and watch these locks incase
anyone needs to get the hell out of here"
Me simmons and Breciano ran down the hall and started partols.
"Whew i can smell em already"
Breciano said sarcastically
"I wonder how many baths they take a year" Said simmons
"Probably 5?"
I replied
Breciano and simmons both laughed not knowing i was being serious.
"Alright Lane and Simmons lets head down the
hall and watch for covenant"
"Lets"
We walked down the hall hearing gunfire and plasma guns shooting.
We all knew there was something ahead.
"Eat this!"
"Watch your six!, Incoming!"
"Im out Landcaster! need some nines"
We heard while waiting for the covenant meanice.
"Sir! permission to pull away from partol to aid 10th
Company Marines"
"Permission granted, Head back ASAP when done!"
"Yes sir!"
Simmons replied
"Lets roll!"
We ran down the hall as plasma grenades went off next to us.
"Glad ya could join us"
"Whats up?"
"5 Badass elites and about 8 grunts"
"Alright no problem"
I counted around 20 marines. even with these many marines 5 Elites still will take some work.
"Grenades!"
"Shit"
I yelled as one bounced off a wall and near me
"Dammit!"
Simmons yelled as he grabbed me nearly 2 feet from the grenade as it went off
"Be more carful!"
We shot down the last 3 grunts as they ran toward us in terror from the grenads
"Elites'!"
2 Elites ran toward us aiming to kill
We mowed down both elites with AR fire
"Im hit....OMG omg omg.....help me Medic!!!"
A marine was bleeding enourmisly. I read his name on his helmet: Lanner
"Shit son of a!"
"Stay with me dammit"
"Get an IV now. Ok pressure on the wound"
I almost puked from watching them tend to his wound
"Its deep, dont worry we can save him"
"Ok, the bleeding stopped, Bandage it hurry"
"Im dying ....shit forget it dude im dead."
"If you say that again ill kill you now hang in there"
"Ill......try.."
He was fading away.
"Ok his pulse is stable...hes out of it though."
I heard a medic curse under his breath. I saw the rest of the elites walk towards us cautiously.
"Ok....grenades yours left mine right"
Breciano whispered
I threw my last 3 grenades left of the elites and Breciano threw his last 2 right.
We were lucky they didnt see what hit them and died wihout any more casualties.
After the battle we headead for back to patrol incase anymore convenant wanted to suprise our company.
We stood about 3 hallways down from the airlocks and the rest of our company.
Before we reported back in we heard it. The sound of something mean coming around the corner.
It was huge like a hunter just diffrent, I mean this thing didnt look like it took shit.
We shot off 1 clip dry each and it was still running at us.
"Ahhh shit, Eat this you gigantic Lizard!"
Breciano pulled out his pistol and to his amazement shot the thing down.
"Whew what in the sam hell is this?"
Simmons said cautiosuly incase more were around.
"Hell if i know, Probably some Covenant reject." Breciano replied
I sat in amazement we even killed it.
"Partrol where the hell are you?"
We heard sarges voice over some gunfire.
"Sir were a few hallways down from your position!"
"Get down here now!"
"Yes sir"
We ran down the hall and saw gunfire everywhere. The thing we shot down had a few buddies.
Around 6 marines were dead or injurend lying on the ground.
"Argh! Die you bastard"
A marine said throwing a grenade at it.
When it blew all that was left was a few parts of whatever it is.
"Dammit! i lost 6 men, Yurek? get your tail down
here ASAP"
"Yes sir"
i heard yureks voice over the radio.
"All companies guarding the airlocks: stay
on duty untill further instructed to leave
the POA II."
"You heard the man keep these things
on hold and ready for evac at any moment!"
"Yes sir!"
We all said together.
A few moments later after some grunts came about scouting ahead i heard the intercome again
"Everyone evacuate to the airlocks and leave ASAP.
All technicians and engineers be advised to leave your
posts and duties now."
"Move like you got a purpose!, All injured
in the pods now and the rest guard these
things until only ours is left to launch"
After 2 had launched i saw more covenant
"3 Elites right side now!"
Sarge Drew his sniper Rifle and shot down two of the elites runnning towards us
"Dont stand there shoot the last one you monkeys!"
After the command all of us opened fire upon the lone elite and desecrated his body into nothing.
The last 2 launched without no problems and we were instucted by the sarge to get in the pods and get the hell off this hellhole.
As more of those huge lizard like things came at us we closed the door and had one stuck between the door.
A new recruiet jumped as the thing tried to tear him up with its claws.
Unfotuantly it got Iziks left arm and tore it pretty good, After he got loose sarge intructed.
"Blow him a new ass marines!"
At least 10 clips went dry on him as he fell backwards allowing the door to shut.
"Alright how many of you Marines are left?"
"I counted 12 sir!"
"Dammit i lost 8....those bastards better not
let me get hold of one of them or ill......"
Sarge hated to lose any men. He was glad he keeped us though. Even though the company was family
he liked keeping Yurek, Breciano, Blane, Zan and Simmons around, They were like his sons he never had.
I was new and so far he seemed to like, me or at least i thought.
"Hit it Lieutenant"
Sarge instucted
"Yes sir"
The pod shot off and i saw space all around me, I started to freak out thinking we wernt going to make it
"Dammit marine pull yourself together and grow some!"
"Cm'on sir hes the rookie give him a lil slack" Breciano said in my defence
"I dont care if hes Christ himself he needs to pull
it together now! Do you hear me?"
"Yes sir!"
I stuttered
After a few moments we entered earths atmoshpere
"Dont worry hes like that to all the new rookies,
and i think he likes you!"
Simmons whispered into my ear.
Blood Written-Chapter 2- Walking Into Hell

Chapter 2-Walking into hell
We landed on earth, back to civilization i thought. I couldnt wait to see the covenant try to make it past here.
I saw at least another 40 pods launch and hit earths atmosphere all trying to aim near or around cities
Were i could see the covenant had the POA II
pretty good, The POA II put up one hell of a fight though; at least another 3 convenant ships went down.
"Lane! cmon stop adoring the asskicking and lets roll!" Simmons yelled at me
"Alright"
"Ok, weve got to get to the nearest city"
To our advantage i saw a pelican coming toward our position.
"To incoming pelican this is Romeo 22, do you read?"
"Yes Romeo 22 i read, this is Arch-Angel coming in to get you to the nearest city"
"Alright Arch-Angel Well be waiting were you can see us"
Which was practically anywhere, We landed in a canyon with a few cliffs.
"Ok LZ looks clear im coming to pick you up!"
"Get ready were heading to the nearest city that needs support"
The convenant ships were already here and had layed siege to some surronding cities.
"Ok i've found the nearest city Lost Angels"
"So we landed on north america huh?" A rookie said
Noone answered already knowing that he knew. After a few minutes we were there. I saw covenant ship tear a few
sqads down to nothing. I knew this wasnt going to be easy.
"Alright Looks clear were bringing you down!"
"Alright marines lets roll, Get down there and lets head to CP"
"Yes, sir!"
We landed at a heliport obviuosly with the huge H on the ground
"Were from POA II we need to head to CP now for instructions" Simmons reported to a nearby marine
"Ok CP's this way!"
He pointed to his left then ran, we followed untill we were inside of a building.
"Sir! weve got some backup from POA II"
"Sarge how trained are your men?" The Corenel Said
"Sir, We ranked the best of all companies Sir!"
"Good i need you here"
He pointed to a place on the map i had no idea where it was
"Yes sir!"
Apparently sarge did though. After that we were told to head to the armory and reload then head out.
"Hey Arch-Angel? You makin any house calls?" Sarge asked
"Only if youre there to recive it"
"We need at least two Carrier warthogs asap! can you apply?"
"Yes sir Arch-Angel and Bravo 67 will apply, coming in to your left!"
She had saw us and was coming toward our position.
"Disengaging"
I saw two warthogs hit the ground. They were new like the original but with a longer bed and no 50.
"Hop in! Breciano take the wheel of the other one"
"Of course sir!"
Simmons was in the side seat with Breciano up front. me and 4 others were in the bed of it
The bed was much like the old style flatbeds, We all layed down on our stomachs and prepared to shoot.
Sarge took the lead for wherever where going.
"Hey Simmons where the hell are we going?" I yelled over the gunfire and schreeching whells
"Wherever sarge goes we go!"
That was all i needed, I turned back around to see the road and then a Elite like lizard coming at me
"Shit! another one of those things."
"Take it out dammit!" Breciano said hurrying to run it over.
When we headed straight for it, it came at us like chicken but instead of hitting us it just jumped
"Son of a bitch!" Breciano said as he turned the wheel, and that thing barley missing us.
After we shot it down I saw something wierd like a tenticle cooming out of its back
My thoughts were interrupted from a covenant elite coming at us with a Plasma Sword.
I quickly shot it down and stared back at the lizard, What the hell i keep thinking i probably dreamed it.
"Were here!" Simmons yelled
We all jumped out of the warthogs, then made way for a structure much like the CP just smaller.
"Ok were to head in there and help any marines and recapture the building, After that we do security for this building
So noone takes it back." Sarge instructed
"Whats so important about this building?"
"Its the building for commucation reasons, I dont know what the hell you call it"
"Well if they lose this they cant get backup right?"
"Thats right Monkey, Lets get in there now!"
I heard gunfire everywhere, Grenades going off. I could see some of the fighting in the windows,
I was hesitate to walk in but i didnt wanna be left out here alone so i ran to the door with everyone else.
"Simmons crack the door!"
"Yes sir"
He put some device on the door like when we found the flood. I rememberd it all pretty well.
Flashback
"Sir it looks like the covenant tried pretty hard to lock this door"
"Just do it"
"Yes sir!"
Then it all happened.......Everyone died or if not then when the ring exploded.
I had got lucky and was a sole survivor...i couldnt remember much of how i got off that thing
All i knew is that im here an still alive.
"LANE!"
i snapped back to reality.
"Sir!?"
"Get your ass in there with breciano and simmons and check things out"
"Yes sir!"
I stood between breciano and simmons ready to fight.
"Clear!" Simmons said as he watched a hallway.
"Its clear sarge!"
"Head in, Alright we need to split in two groups."
"Usual sarge?"
"Cept you take Lane with you"
"OK Lane, Simmons, Yurek, Blane, Zen, and Morrdox with me" Breciano ordered.
"Everyone with me" sarge ordered
"Lets roll, well cover as much as we can and report in"
We all ran up the stairs and waited for some covenant to try to pick a fight.
"Stay together and well all live" Simmons said running up the stairs.
After about 2 floors we finnaly say some covenant and more lizards.
"Over here!"
We shot toward the covenant distracting them for the exact second the other marines need to snipe down the Lizard
and Covenant Elite.
"Nice one!" i heard some marines yell
"Friendlies moving in!"
We ran to there position ready to fight.
"Status?" Simmons asked
"Were doing just fine, as for the building its been overrunned with these things."
"Well were here to take em out"
"Good just follow us and take out anything that isnt human."
We followed the mainres all the way to the top of the building cleasing it of covenant.
We had a few casualties, but we still heald strong
"Thats it for our part, Sarge? Hows it going?"
"Just fine Breciano, You done already?"
"Yes sir!"
"Damn rookies slowing me down"
I heard a few screams in the backround.
"Crap, I need someone down here now!" Sarge screamed
"Lane you up for it?"
"Sure" I replied
I was insturced to get to sarges position and help out while everyone else mopped up the rest of them.
I finnaly caught up to sarge and everyone else without any problems.
"Sarge!"
"Over here now!"
"Sir?"
"I need you to get a warthog and these rookies to these coordinates!"
"Why ?"
"Dont ask just do it dammit!"
"Ok."
"Hey all you rookies with him now!"
I heard some rookies stutter and ran to my postion
I told them to follow me, They did but some started to freak out, I guess this is as much action as they ever seem.
"Cmon stay with it!" I yelled
We finnaly got out of there and headed to a warthog.
There was 6 of us including me.
"You take the wheel of that one, and ill take this one!"
I jumped into a warthog with two other marines, this time with a 50.
The other 3 toke the other one and started out before me
"Stop where do you think your going?"
"Sorry sir" He replied as he stopped
"Now just follow me and stay alive!"
I never gave out orders before, it felt wierd giving them instead of taking them.
"Fuck!" I yelled as a few more covenant stood infront of my warthog
I ran them over but something caught my wheel and i ended up ramming into a wall
everyone else went uncoinsious do to the hit.
As i tried to get out i saw the other warthog hit the wall too.
I got out and went for 50 cal. But as soon as I jumped on there i was hit in the back of the head by something
then i went unconscience.
Blood Written- Chapter 3- Death and Confusion

Chapter 3-Death and Confusion
I opened my eyes and saw a rookie marine walking into the middle of the street, It was dark
and only the moonlight was lighting the place.
He walked out into the street, I tried to yell but i couldnt move or talk i just watched.
Soon two more of those lizard things came at him from both sides.
I tried to scream but ended up going unconscience again.
I woke up again to see two of those things lying on the ground
mutulated so bad it looks like whatever killed them had fun in the process.
I got out of the 50 cal seat and saw whoever was in my passanger seat wasnt there anymore.
To my amazement i stood up and walked over to the lizards.
I stood there looking at them amazed how many deep cuts there were in them, A pool of blood surroneded them.
It was disgusting to look. I turned around to see that marine looking straight at me.
"Hey are you alright?" I asked
"Become.....Us........." He muttered back
"What?"
"You mustnt....fight....become us ...."
He started to walk towards me and into the moonlight.
I almost fell to the sight of him. Half his body was mutated and disfigured.
He looked similar too the flood but was diffrent, half his face was visible and human like....but there was nothing human
about what happened to him, Both arms covered by a mutating green spore. His legs were missing certain muscles
and had veins sticking out it was a horrible sight to see.
"Oh my god... What happened?"
"Ive finnaly become them a whole....a god!"
They still talked like a human though....he wasnt a flood but he wasnt human either...
he was like a hybrid.
I quickly moved to my assault rifle and pointed it at him
"You cant kill me.....im a god...."
I shot without thinking knocking him down and hopefully killing him.
What the hell i keept thinking. Finnaly i gathered all the ammo i could from the dead marines
and a shotgun also.
As i started to walk off i saw the marines bodies were mutulated too, Like they tried to fight back
Against something....i had no idea what happened all I knew is that i was alive, just like before at the ring.
I started to gag looking at their bodies mutalated, Beheaded, Limbs Torn off.
I walked off and look back from the warthogs to the lizards....
Finnaly I look where i was heading and just walked.
I heard gunfire from a few feet down but from all the bullets and screams all i could hear was some footsteps...
"BECOME....US!"
I turned around to see him looking straight at me.
He was still alive and walking towards me. I pulled my shotgun and shot untill there was nothing left.
I was breathing hard....I couldnt stand to look at him so i went toward the battle ahead
Waiting for something to happen.....and whatever it was i knew wasnt going to be good.
When i had turned the corner i saw everything, Covenant, Marines and even those things again, all being attack
by those things like what i saw. I just watched as those things destroyed everyone. Ripping them apart
Having fun killing them, I couldnt stand to watch as everyone was gettin torn to peices.
I grabbed my shotgun and hoped there was a god. I ran through the hordes of aliens shooting at anything that got in my
way, I ran up toward the catwalk then something grabbed my leg and tripped me, I turned to see it.
"Oh my fucking god....."
It looked like the sargeant.
"Become Us!!" he screamed
"Ahhh"
I shot him in a furious rage, then i had ran to everyone elses position.
I saw an elite and pointed my gun at him
"Wait stop, There helping us!" A corpral yelled
"What?" I screamed back
"Ill explain later, Hey you got that door opened yet?"
"Almost" A technician yelled
I lowered my gun and aimed for more of the flood.
"Its open!" The technician yelled happily
"Lets go inside!"
All of the Covenant and Humans ran inside and turned to shot untill the door shut
"Hurry its closing" The corpral said as i ran to the door.
I jumped inside as I saw the flood Ripping apart the bodies of helpless marines running to the door
Two privates ran toward the door, as i reached out to help him in a flood forced its arm into his stomach.
"Help....me!"
It tore through him and ripped out everything inside his body.
"NOOOOOOOO" the other marine screamed as his shot aimlessly at the flood.
They tore him into peices litteraly. As the door shut i heard his screams...i was shaking by this time and couldnt think
of anything but that marines screams.
"What the FUCK are those things?!" the corpral said
Apparently i was the only one that knew.
"Flood.....Thier called the flood" I said as i looked at the ground replaying that scene in my head.
"Flood?"
"Ya...."
"They look like fucking mutated humans and covenant."
"There diffrent.."
"What? diffrent!" A private said as he picked me up furiously
"Put him down dammit" the corpral said as he kicked the private.
"Look hes the sole survivor of the aplha ring incident, so he knows.
Hey what do you mean diffrent." Corpral said slowley
"On the ring they were completly disfugured and you couldnt tell who or what they use to be.
Now they have human characteristics, You can see thier much smarter.....and brutal."
"God dammit smarter?!"
"Yeah, They dont just run aimleslly toward you..they use strategies now."
"FUCK!" the private said.
"Whats with the covenant" I said still looking at the ground.
"Apparently we all kno we'll die if we try to fight them without help."
"Oh, i get it." I said
"Now what?"
I looked around seeing a stairway upstairs.
I reached for my radio
"Any Pelicans in the area, Please respond"
"This is Arch-Angel Over"
"We need evac ASAP" I said relieved.
"I saw some shit going on down there whats going on?"
"Flood their back we need evac now!"
"I see your building im landing at the top ill be there soon" She said as she shut off her radio.
"Lets roll" I said
"Upstairs? Youre crazy these things are everywhere." A covenant elite said
"Either there or wait here for them to bust down the door."
He nodded and we all ran upstairs
"Slow down we dont need to be ambushed."
A few marines and grunts looked at me and nodded, Before they looked back they saw my face with terror and then
Hesitatly looked back.
There was at least 50 of those floods standing right in front of them.
"FIRE!" I yelled but to late for them to respond as they were beheaded.
"Shit!"
We started to open fire and run through there ranks trying to get upstairs
I brang up the rear. I saw convenant getting slaughtered and marines getting thrown around.
I ran and picked up wounded marines. When they made it too the door they stopped to provide cover fire the door opened behind them they screamed as they were Torn through and Shot.
"ARGHHH"
A marine screamed as a flood ripped him in half. i saw 3 marines make suicide leaps into the flood with grenads attached to them, Soon the infectious form just Swarmed us like a tidal wave attaching on to anyone and everything.
Marines bodies raised from the dead and fought with their weapons. Shots clipped coveant in the throats and
Soon infectious forms Swarmed over them Tranforming them.
I ran to the door in a full sprint I was knocked out by a whip from another flood
I couldnt move, I just saw infectious forms crowd me...i knew i was dead. I knew the world was over now
The flood invaded earth, Now noone was safe.
"Breciano! What now?"
"Fuck i dont know!"
"God dammit, Weve lost just about everyone!"
"Dont worry just get to the Heli-Pad"
"Theres only like 5 of us man we wont make it"
"Yes we will, Were trained."
"What about covenant?"
"What about them there helping us you idiot!"
"Man i dont know about this"
"Pull it together well make it Now go!"
"Son of a bitch!"
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
"Right Right!"
"Fuck Shoot left now!"
"There swarming us!"
"Theres the pelican gogogo!"
"Cmon dammit"
"Get us out of here!"
"ARGH"
"Fuck!"
"AHHHHHHHH"
I could only imagine what would happen now. . . .
