It's been a long road (to Halo)
Postmortem has been producing a Youtube channel focused on media for a while now, and he dropped by to mention his latest video is all about the history of humanity in the Halo universe, starting from almost the very beginning. You can watch it on YouTube or embedded below.

The Seventh Column is listening in

Check out the next dev map coming to Infinite
Infinite's CU29 update drops at the end of this month, bringing with it a new map, "Illusion". This looks like it'll be a fun, CE-inspired trip to an ONI research site. In addition to screenshots, there's an interview with the developers. Check it out on Waypoint. (fuchsdh 15:08:45 UTC) (permalink)

Warthog Jump Anniversary
This is really neat. DiscipleN2k dropped by with a link to a video by MitchMakesGames interviewing longstanding community member BOLL, who years ago made the Warthog Jump Flash game that still graces HBO. Defeat Halo 3 Phantoms with this one weird trick

Play the alternate universe Halo 2 we never got, thanks to mods
This is nifty. Mint Blitz has a cool video demonstrating Halo modders' efforts with Halo 2, recreating the classic experience as well as a bunch of cut content (and Infinite's tank gun, to boot.) See if it interests you and then check out the mod!

Someone put AOTCR in my Halo Infinite, and other Forge features
The 24th Community Cartography feature is live on Waypoint, and it's got some pretty great gems to try out, from a recreation of Assault on the Control Room, recreating the cutscene fight at the beginning of Infinite and... a turn-based tabletop game?
